Hey Superstarrs, Where were you during the Eclipse 2017??? We were in Christian County, Kentucky, with our Starr Family. We were Blessed to spend the weekend celebrating in Hopkinsville, Kentucky. That was renamed Eclipseville. Here is pics & video of our adventure!!!
My Sis-in-law Vickie Starr.
We spent Saturday afternoon Downtown Hopkinsville, Kentucky enjoying the festivities. They had lots of Super Cool Food & Vender tents all over down there. My favorite one I visited was The Mixer, where they mixed me up a cool refreshing Casey Jones Eclipsarita. I am definitely looking forward to visiting them, when they get their place open in early 2018!!!
While walking around Downtown we got to see a cool old theater called the Alhambra Theatre. Ever since working at a movie theater in High School, I love whenever I see old theaters restored. The glow of the neon is just so Awesome!!! I also loved the poster they had hanging up.
Street view, I had to get closer to see all the lights!!!
So Pretty!!!
The poster confirming that we were in the Best place to see the Eclipse!!! We ended up having the longest & clearest view. So glad we traveled to Kentucky instead of staying in Southern Illinois. I felt so sorry for those in Carbondale, who had clouds blocking their view until the last 3 seconds. Major Bummer!!!
You can check out more of my pics from this adventure on my Instagram!!!
Below are the videos I took before, during & after the Eclipse.
